Headlining the Circoloco Arena in Sydney will be a name that’s written in techno folklore – the Grammy-award winning artist Dubfire. Without question, Dubfire stole hearts and conquered minds in Australia when he closed the CODE Stage at Electric Gardens in January on the first year, and Electric Gardens fans are sure to welcome this huge talent back for round two with open arms.

Initially a part of the super-group Deep Dish together with Sharam Tayebi he had conquered house music, releasing acclaimed dance classics like their 95 remix of De’Lacy ‘Hideaway’, and went on to work with an eclectic array of names in pop, rock and electronica. Together they won a Grammy, among many other high-profile awards, and became one of the most respected DJ acts in the world.

Having firmly established the reputation of Deep Dish as pioneers amongst the greats of electronic music, Dubfire worked on becoming a bona fide solo superstar, and has since dominated both the global stage and taken the underground scene by storm with his solo guise and his deep, dark, meaningful electronic music – and nobody can compete with Dubfire’s superb ability to read a crowd from behind the mixer!
